PAYMENT METHODS

We accept payment by wire transfer, money order, check, PayPal, and the following credit cards: Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover.

Credit card payments

We accept online orders as well as orders by fax or by phone. Please Note: Charges to your credit card will be from Laurel Cove Trading Company, parent company of MarineTech North America.

Check payments

We accept personal, company, cashier's checks and money orders. Please note that the orders are processed upon receipt of a money order or cashier's check. For personal checks, please allow up to 10 banking days after receipt for clearance of funds before the order is processed.

International orders

Contact us for pricing quotes. Shipping charges vary depending on the destination country and shipping method. The customer is responsible for applicable duties, taxes or customs charges on all items. While we are happy to accept payment by credit card for international orders, we MUST  receive a faxed copy of your recent credit card statement (+1-540-242-4200 fax) for all orders outside of the US and Canada, and will ONLY ship such orders to the billing address on the statement. As an alternative, you may pay for your order by bank wire transfer (incurs an additional $20 bank charge for the transfer) and the transfer must be confirmed as received prior to shipment. Payment for US and Canadian orders may be made through PayPal.

 SHIPPING

Most in-stock merchandise will be shipped within 24 hours after receipt of order, although many orders ship the same day if received before 12 pm Eastern time.

We offer free ground shipping to the lower 48 States for orders over $225. Some exclusions may apply. For orders under $225, customer pays standard UPS rates and insurance unless another shipping special is in effect. The current $7.99 flat rate ground shipping special is for UPS Ground delivery within the 48 contiguous states. Some large or heavy items (anchors, long antennas, etc.) may be excluded.

There is no free shipping for international orders.

USPS shipping is available to PO Boxes and APO addresses, but an additional $10 handling charge will be applied.

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

Orders canceled prior to shipment will be subject to 5% order processing fee.

RETURNS

All returns must be made within 20 days from the original invoice sale date. The item returned must be in the original factory package and unused. Customers wishing to return or exchange an item must obtain a "Return Material Authorization Number" from us so that we can process the replacement or return.

Customer is responsible for shipping charges on returns or replacements, unless the return is a result of our error. We are not responsible for lost packages by shipper therefore we recommend insuring the item.

Please note that charts, software, CD Roms, tapes, life rafts, EPIRBS and special orders are not returnable unless defective, and only for replacement.

We can not accept returns of unsealed or used electronics or items without a Return Material Authorization Number! Please be careful when ordering to choose the correct item.

 SALES TAX

Virginia residents will be charged 5% sales tax. No sales tax will be charged for residents of other states.

For tax exclusion, a reseller tax certificate is required.
